Samsung Galaxy S III is a collateral challenge of Android’s to Apple’s iPhone. The combo of Samsung and Google’s Android has messed-up Apple’s sales statistics badly. In 2011 alone, Samsung’s smartphones, powered by Android OS, set the company in leading state especially the Galaxy S Series. Smartphone sales data for 1Q12 shows that Samsung has so far captured about 29.1% share in the market while iPhone stayed on 24.2. Big Loss! Remaining shares are dedicated to Nokia, RIM, HTC and other brands.
Samsung is visibly the largest vendor of smartphones and of course, of Android based devices too. Samsung’s Galaxy S II has already been proved as the best Android of 2011. Since Samsung decided to go with Android OS, Nokia and RIM have been little-by-little lagging behind in the chase. At this point of time, the gap is hardly coverable. Others immediately need a magic wand…, or a magic word…
The Samsung Galaxy S III is pretty good and it defiantly has lots of features that may keep the kingship of the company inviolate in the years ahead. It’s what Microsoft used to be in the PC market against the same competitor: Apple.
Some features of Samsung S III
Galaxy S III is inspired by nature and it is S Voice, a Siri-like voice navigation feature that is labeling “Natural Interaction” in it. Another interactive feature is Smart Stay. The feature has been enabled with front camera to help what actually you are doing on the screen. For example, if you are reading, you need more bright display to easily read each word. Here Smart Stay enables some extra brightness to make your reading easy. It makes the calling automatically too. If you are texting but suddenly decide to call instead then lift the phone to your ear and the number will be dialed automatically. It will also come with preinstalled Dropbox that lets you store 50GB data at no cost for a 2-year of tenure. A lovable feature; isn’t it?
It has various new features which allow it to stand on the same podium where Apple’s iPhone has been standing for over half a decade. Experts say that S III will completely turn its rival green with envy. Samsung smartphones have proved their worth and every report and stat tells that it is a winner. Galaxy S series have helped the company to get this status. The war has just begun. Will the rivals come back with something new or will Samsung maintain its position At this point of time all I can say is may God bless iPhone and may God bless others too.
