Is Android 3.0 coming this fall?

There is a rumor at the full tilt that Android 3.0 might be coming this fall, although none has any hard proof for that. An online Mobile review magazine has discussed some supposed features of Android 3.0 i.e. Gingerbread, but they could not provide any proof for their claims.

They said that Gingerbread would be for the high-end, powerful devices while Android 2.2 i.e. Froyo would continue to ship on the low-end devices. But Google has not stated anything regarding this rumor as yet.

Google just released Froyo and it hasn’t been rolled out to the most existing Android handsets yet. How are they barely getting that out?  But the speculation of podcast sounds nice at this drop. So we can understand, it is completely an assumption in the line with the evolution of the Android OS to-date which would directly add up to the essential fork in the mobile technology.

It does not matter if this tidbit of information is true or not. If not, though unlikely, we will find the would-be Gingerbread as the flagship Android OS for tablets, according to the podcast. Let’s wait till Google confirms or denies this exciting speculation.
