10M Samsung Galaxy SIII sold in less than 2 months

Ever since Samsung has launched Galaxy S III, it has sold more than 10 million units according to the president J. K. Shin. The sales figure suggests that Samsung will continue to dominate the global Android smartphone segment until another miraculous Android phone hits the market.

The prediction was already made in June that the sales of S III would reach 10 million’s mark in July, which turned out to be true.. The predecessor smartphone—Galaxy S II took five months to touch the same mark.

According to the reviews, Galaxy S III has become the first ever Android smartphone whose features can make iPhone users feel jealous. It has a monster 4.8 inch display that brightens with 720 pixel resolution, as well as an 8-megapixel camera and 1.9-megapixel front camera. S III weighs 4.7 ounces and measures 8.6 mm thin.

Galaxy S III is being sold through hundreds of carriers around the world. By the end of this month, the device will be available with  296 carriers located in 145 countries. In US, Samsung Galaxy S III is available with carriers, like Sprint, Verizon Wireless, AT&T and U.S. Cellular.
